At Clonabreany we are licensed for civil ceremonies in The Orchard Room and outdoor spaces in Tunnel Wood and our Main House Courtyard. If you are planning a church wedding then Kilskyre and Ballinlough Catholic churches are located within a 10 minute drive from the venue. There are also Church of Ireland churches in Kells and Oldcastle, both of which are within 15 minutes’ drive of Clonabreany. To arrange your ceremony in Clonabreany House, you must apply directly to the civil registration office. The contact details for the Meath Branch are: The Civil Registration Office, The Enterprise Centre, Trim Road, Navan, Co. Meath (+353 46 9097833). Once you have applied to the Civil Registration office you will be given a Declaration Form which you need to provide to us for completion. According to the Marriage Notification Process you need to present yourself to the Civil Registration office at least five days before the wedding takes place. On-site ceremonies take place from 3pm.
Clonabreany House is only an hour outside Dublin city centre and an hour and 15 minutes from Dublin Airport.
Bus Eireann coaches run daily between Dublin Airport/city centre and Kells. Kells is only a short distance from Clonabreany and transport to and from Kells can be arranged.

Our Courtyard houses offer luxury on-site accommodation for your wedding guests and we can sleep up 90 people sharing.
For the night of your wedding we require 32 bedrooms in Clonabreany Courtyard to be occupied. Single supplements apply to rooms with one occupant.
Check-in is from 3pm. Breakfast is served from 8.30am to 10.30 am and guest checkout is 11:30am
Our wedding events team can supply a list of local accommodation options in the area for any additional guests and we work with a number of local taxi companies to ensure all your guests get back to their accommodation at the end of the night.

All our wedding packages include a complimentary menu and wine tasting for the wedding couple, this generally takes place six months before the wedding. If you are unable to attend, we are happy for you to nominate two friends or family members to attend on your behalf.
The minimum number of guests for the Grand Marquee is 80 and we can seat up to 220 guests for larger weddings.
Small intimate weddings are catered for Monday to Wednesday in our Diamor Suite situated in Clonabreany Courtyard. The minimum number of guests for a wedding in the Diamor Suite is 40 and the maximum is 60 guests.
Your drinks reception takes place in the Main House. The Courtyard behind the Main House is laid out with tables and chairs so guests can take advantage of the outdoor space. The drinks reception normally lasts for approximately two hours but is dependent on your ceremony time and location.
The time of your wedding banquet is again dependent on your ceremony time and location. We like to call your guests into the Grand Marquee as close to 5:30pm as possible and begin service half an hour later. We generally allow two hours for the meal depending on numbers.
We cater for guests with any dietary requirements at no additional cost. We request that any special dietary requirements are specified in advance.
We use round tables as standard in the marquee and you decide the layout with guidance from our Wedding Events Team. The round tables can seat from 8-11 guests per table. There are a number of options available for your top table e.g. long straight, round, oval. We usually place the top table against the windows as the grounds make for a beautiful backdrop. Oval and round top tables can also be set up in the centre of the room.
